I usually have a knitting project going on that I work on at night while I watch TV. My most recent project was a sweater for my daughter. I found this sweater in the Fall 2013 issue of Knit Simple. It is a cardigan with mitten pockets and a zipper, I used a fun pink yarn for the body and blue yarn for the pockets.
This pattern is knitted in pieces and sewn together. I was not a fan of sewing so many seams, I think that the next sweater I will make will be knitted top down. This was also my first time sewing a zipper into a knitted sweater and I have to say it was relatively easy.
