House Renovation Weeks 33 & 34: Painting is Finished!!!!!

The painting is finally finished!!!!!! SO EXCITED. Here is how we finished it up over the last two weeks. This includes painting all the kitchen cabinets.

Week 33

On Monday we painted the kitchen walls.

We also lined up all the kitchen cabinet doors and cleaned them all.

On Wednesday my Mom and I painted the tinted primer on the backs of the doors. So many doors.

There I am doing touch ups in to the late night.

Also some plumbing fixtures and lighting was installed.

Thursday - no pics, we painted the primer on the front of the doors.

On Friday, my Mom, Dad and I painted the tinted primer on the cabinets.

Saturday - no pics, we painted the final coat on the back of the doors.

On Sunday, we painted the final coat on the cabinets and the front of the doors.

Week 34

Time to put the cabinets back together...

I feel very happy with the final product. It felt good to be done.

In the morning for about 3 hours my Mom and I went over everything in the house and did final touch ups. We cleared out the painting supplies to the basement and congratulated ourselves on a job well done.

The flooring was delivered.

Walter and a Tremblay Wedding: Guest Post by Walter

Hello Everyone,

It's me Walter, again.

I was fortunate enough to attend two out-of-state weddings with the Bock's this year. This is the story of the most recent one, this past September. (I finally get to post this, I've been nagging Caroline about posting this, but she has been a little busy recently.)

There I am all suited up and in my new and roomier travel accommodations ready for the flight down to Atlanta.

It was a long journey, the hotel room was much needed before the wedding activities started.

The next day started by hanging out with the girls at the bridesmaids luncheon.

More time at the hotel with my favorite girls before the rehearsal dinner.

Rehearsal at the church.

The big day is here. I'm so excited!!!!

I have a special connection with the groom, Eric. He is the one that introduced me to the Bock family. So happy for this couple, fun times on the trolley. The reception was a great time too.

Later I went out to the bar with the bride and groom. What a day. Thanks to Eric & Megan for inviting me to their wedding.

Where will the Bock family take me next.

Signing off for now,
